How many people carry a BU gun. I would but it seems a little too much if pulled over by a LEO

What seems to be the problem?

I am carrying a BUG in an ankle holster at the moment. If I get pulled over by a LEO, I will follow the law.

I hear you. I carry BU pocket 9 and AR trunk gun. I just don't want to appear like an over zealous militia. I'm in Cal.

I'm more afraid of being shot by the police out here. They are not use to armed citizens

LOL. It is not the useless junk you carry on you and in your car, but your behavior that gets you profiled. Behave like an idiot, you will be perceived like an idiot, and you will be treated like an idiot. Know the laws, know your rights, know how to assert your rights, and follow the law. The side of the road is not the time and place to argue.

I carry a BUG, so do many experienced LEOs and retired military. On the street, you won't be able to distinguish me from all the people that don't carry. If you are worried about interfacing with retarded anti-gun LEOs, they exist everywhere and to them even one gun is too much.

A good idea if one walks around all day in some kind of "War Zone", otherwise carrying a back up gun is a little too much, period.

Seriously, you believe that?
Let's consider why we carry a firearm: "It may be required to protect myself from severe bodily harm or death."

That equates to dealing with a "what if" by carrying a gun.

Follow that logic and consider: "What if" for reason (x) I need a backup gun....

There's a good number of folks who carry a:
1. Primary
2. Backup
3. Hideout
Pretty much the same logic that explains carrying a spare tire in the trunk of a car.

To the OP: I carry a BUG.

I don't live in a war zone either LOL

Okay, I'll chime in. "Carry?" Not really, but when I'm traveling I'll have one on my hip and another readily accessible in my car or at least in my bag. Occasionally the one in the car is in an ankle holster, but usually in a dedicated holster attached to the lower console. And no, it doesn't stay in the car overnight. Meaning sometimes I actually have two handguns on my person between my car and my room.

I carry a BUG a Ruger LCP in left front pocket. I carry a Glock G17 as my EDC. If someone grabs for my EDC I go for my BUG. If you feel its TOO MUCH be like Barney Fife. Carry your firearm empty with Bullet in your shirt pocket.
