B-Square mount for Rugar Mini-14 181 series Any Opinions?

I've heared both positive and negative. I figure I will get the truth here.

I had a 181 series Mini 14 with a B-Square mount and it worked fine. The only problem was that you had to
remove the rear sight because the mount did not lift the scope up enough to clear the rear sight. Other than
that it worked fine.

Yes, it was the rear factory peep sight. The scope was a 4 power but I don't recall the brand.

I have the new m-14 tatical with synthetic stock. It came with 1 inch scope mounts. I had a Bushnell 4-9x40 dusk to dawn scope mounted using the scope rings that came with the rifle. Did not effect the rear peep sight, however no room to go any bigger. Maybe your scope has a very large rear eye relief.
