The laws that caused Magpul and other companies to flee the state, it turns out, were based on flawed statistics.

Anyone surprised?

The 40% private transfer figure on which they based their estimates were from 1997; of course, that is also the same number good ol' Bloomberg's groups kept waving in the faces of legislators as well. This number, in turn, was based on a 1994 telehone poll that only surveyed 251 people; the methodology is considered to be badly flawed.

Turns out the REAL number is something around 7%.

“Nothing good came of the passage of the law, except we found out just how anti-gun Democrats in Colorado are,” state Sen. Greg Brophy (R-Wray) told the Associated Press.

All Dems A-G rhetoric is based on lies. That is the only way they can get their way, by manipulating the truth and flat out lying---a clear tactic of communism.

So, can the citizens of CO sue the legislators that rammed that through to garnish their wages for the excess spending?

Years ago when I was stationed out there, the state was a wonderful place to live. It is (was) a sportsmen's paradise. Gun control wasn't a problem and, as a matter of fact, I never heard it mentioned. Only in the last few years when people from other states discovered what a beautiful place Colorado is and moved there did it start on this liberalism kick. Hilarious in that people leave their old home to come out there for the quiet life but bring all the restrictions from their old homes with them. If they can't be satisfied, they damn sure don't want anyone else satisfied either. The Colorado government has been influenced by the likes of Bloomberg and the Brady Group and really screwed up a good state!

When I lived in Baker, Oregon back in the early 80s, it was much the same way. I used to dream of moving back out there some day. Now? Nope. The same reasons you gave.

Listening to the news on TV today, it seems like Colorado has caused problems for states by their legalization of marijuana and it being bootlegged to adjoining states that haven't legalized it. It seems like the people out there have just lost their minds and don't really care about what is happening around them. Just light up and screw the country. One of these days they will regret all of their New Age thinking and by then the state will be totally screwed up. Unfortunately, living in the South isn't of the same quality as a few years back. We have been afflicted with the druggies, crime and immigrants but, I would still take it over what has happened in the West. Damned shame!
