Arresting Veterans for Facebook Posts

Anyway they're starting with the veterans. I'm sure they'll spread out when they're done with them. Under their criteria, probably everyone on here will qualify. It doesn't even say what is happening to most of them. Are they released or not?

FYI-There is an auto-start video on the page about the military vehicles going to police departments.

We were briefed often about watching what we said on social media, if members are getting arrested/punished it doesn't surprise me. I am pretty sure that I was responsible for getting this site blocked on the network pooters at JBCHS... I'm really surprised I wasn't actually punished for some of the things I posted while active duty, both here and on other social media.
 
Once again the ever tolerant liberals tell us who they really are. Agree with them and your 1A rights are safe, oppose them and what 1A rights. I realize while on active duty your 1A rights are restricted especially if you criticize the CIC.
 
So Obama is going to use the military that he don't like to arrest vets, me and them in the future, lets se how that works, he is a Traitor pure and simple, almost all of the military I know and I know a bunch hates is ass. Bring it on maybe the dumb ass will find out why the constitution was written, to stop acts like this from occurring and the 2nd amendment give it backbone. Peace, Love, Colt 45.

I read the link but it left out some important information. What actually was said. Example: I don't like Obama. He's bad. He shouldn't have won his election. Etc.... all perfectly fine, protected 1a speech.

But, if you say something that includes a threat, then that's illegal and not protected 1a speech.

This isn't really anything about Vets, its about laws designed to protect the office of the President, and have been around way before Obama.

You are correct that there are laws to protect POTUS, but I remember that people wrote columns, books and made movies about killing POTUS while Bush was in the Oval Office and that was art, free speech and whatever else. We were suppose to be open minded about such things.

The libs have such a double standard that it is sicking! If obummer flipped out one day in front of the MSM, took the microphone and beat Joe Biden to death with it, the MSM would say that poor obummer was "Just having a bad day!" MSM have to much invested in this POS to turn on him!

I did a google search on "people arrested for threatening president Bush" (without quotes though)... and got over 13M results. No, I'm not saying that 13M were arrested, but clearly people were arrested for threatening President Bush, man. Let's just keep it real... there are plenty of things to legitimately criticize President Obama over, but when he is criticized for things that are false, it weakens the opposition group, not Obama.

Careful what ya wish for you may never be heard from again. Look what they did to Andrew Brietbart, that one reporter who crashed and blew up, that gun business owner, all of Bath House Barry's gay lovers and the list goes on. Never go peacefully with any feds or cops when it comes to rights violations.
 
I stress again, most of us on here are NOT ANTI-GOV'T. We're PRO-Constitution. BIG difference and mind set.

Well, the posts on Facebook that I follow are all anti-O'bozo (Barry Sotelo), I would not be friends with any one that like her. The Facebook TEA party to name just one. As to fellow vets, heck the ones on my list say really bad things that I do not put, I do not cuss on that media, I see no reason to. That does not stop a lot of folks. I know the answer to this question but, who are these youngsters that would violate the Bill of Rights and the oats? As Cool and Luke said when the guards told him they were just doing a job he said, "That don't make it right boss."

First there is a little sarcasm in my statement--yes it is sometimes hard to pick up on that on the internet, second do not call him president, he is not deserving nor imo legally entitled. By the way we no longer have presidents they are just puppets to a banking cartel and big corporations and have been since 1913 and the takeover by the federal reserve. Only two since then have been worthy enough to be called a leader, JFK and Reagan.

Yep, I believe we have a need for a govt, laws and law enforcement just not the corrupt type and a very scaled down version. I think the only thing we need govt for is interstate and international commerce and security against invasion.
