Arrested on charges of Breach of the Peace...

They call it harrassment under these circumstances where I live, basis for the arrest. Should be interesting to see if we ever get all the facts.

The right to free speech does not include the right to harrass people who don't want to hear your speech, or read your propoganda.

You are smart enough to see the double standard vis-a-vis religion & ethnicity.

They have a right to assemble & a right to religion & a right to free speech. If the individuals at that rally didnt like it then tough! I dont like it when there are hecklers at the funerals of our fallen heros. I dont like hearing people speak in a profane manner, I dont like seeing grown men kiss in public. All of those are protected rights & other than wring my hands there is nothing I can do about it. To arrest people in American for this is beyond conscionable.

Look up Michigan Law "Breach of Peace". You will find it has absolutely nothing to do with this issue, in fact it is a nonsensical law that pertains to repo agents.

The reality is this whole thing is a farce & it will no doubt quietly go away as the the MI police really dont want it to see the light of day & the liberal media dont want to report it because it might cast our poor Muslim people in a bad light. Lastly the apathetic American people are more interested in what Paris Hilton wore to the night club than real substantive news...

The above quote is obviously prior to mine showing what they were actually charged for. When you made this post were you guessing or were aware of the chareges or making a supposition?

While I did not read the legislation in total significant parts of it spell out how, when & where a repo agent may take a vehicle. I suppose a broad minded individual could use that legislation to impinge on the 1st, 4th & 9th amendments to the constitution.

That video perty much says it all, and the police statement about not being able to distribute their tracts within 5 blocks of the festivals is what as known as Pirma Vara Law, (not sure of the sp) but basically they make up a law, and attempt to support it with threats of arrest, bottom line in all they needed to do was say show me the law and I will comply... Hence putting the burden of proof on the police.

One more thing looks like grounds for a law suit to me, based upon public property and exclusive use being granted to a party with out license....

The cameraman was doing no wrong, and they shut him down so there would be not further video evidence, his words "less than 3 minutes" with basically no one going by the rest of the time is not a very large hole, yes the police violated the letter of the law to codify the Muslims, and yes with the right lawyer and I would bet Figer who sues for anyone would love this one....
