ArmsList a 'CraigsList' type site for Firearms.

This site is for person to person transfers. Not for shipping across state lines. If you do buy a gun in Las Vegas, Nevada and want it shipped to Michigan then you would need an FFL Licensed person on both ends, NOT FACE TO FACE! Haven't you ever bought a gun from a private seller, like your next door neighbor, friend at a gun club, family member. This is no different. Just make sure who your dealing with, meet in a common location like a range, and cover you a$$ with the type of sales agreement I posted in post#15. If you need anymore clarification let me know.

I do not need any clarification...

" Welcome to ARMSLIST Gun Classifieds
If you're looking for a simple and effective firearms marketplace,
you've come to the right place. Here's why:
* Bigger: More traffic and more listings than any other free firearms classified. (BULL-SH*T)
* Flexible: View listings at the city, state, and national level." (Looks like more then FTF to me)

"Always comply with local, state, federal, and international law. ARMSLIST does not become involved in transactions between parties. Review our privacy policy and terms of use for more information. Report Illegal Firearms Activity to 1-800-ATF-GUNS. "

The laws differ greatly from State to State and even County to County within said states...

There are numerous states & counties and other municipalities that do not allow transfers of handguns and or long-guns without a NICS check, registrations, etc., which means you either meet at the local cop-shop or you use a FFL to do the transfer...
You are free to meet at a local FFL and pay him for his time, typically in the $15.00-$20.00 range...

I buy an average of 10-15 firearms a year, most online and at gun shows...

In Clark County, Nevada where I live, they have a "Clark County" Only Mandatory Handgun Registration Requirement, I am free to buy or sell long guns between myself and private individuals without a NICS Check, but if I buy any firearm from a FFL Holder I am required to pass a NICS Check...
Nobody in Clark County, Nevada can do a FTF on any handgun unless they do it at the cop-shop or at a FFL Holders place of business and pass a NICS check...

Arms List has numerous listing for FTF Handguns for sale in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada by private individuals but that is not actually the case when it comes down to it...

Just one example...

Be that as it may...

Arms List and the other 29 sites listed on the so-called top gun classified site are all small-potatoes compared to gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com and gunsamerica.com

which was my whole point in responding to this thread to begin with...
as top gun classified clearly makes dubious and misleading statements and representations of the 29 sites including Arms List that have a fraction of the traffic amongst other things that the big three do, the two largest being totally omitted...

on any of the big three aforementioned IF I want to do a FTF or across State Lines and their & my local laws do not prohibit the activity we are free to make the transaction, other wise we either go the FFL-FFL transfer route or it does not happen...
and of course both parties need to be willing to proceed regardless of the legal requirements and not knowing that you illegally transferred a firearm will not keep you out of jail...

peace

Just got another beautiful, and rare pistol made by Smith and Wesson 1 of 150 made. I got it off of ARMSLIST, face to face transfer and no problems...imagine that!
