Two teenage boys were spotted by a neighbor as they loaded items from the cabin next door into a vehicle parked outside. The youths wore what appeared to be blood-spattered clothing. The neighbor retrieved a firearm and confronted the interlopers. They were held at gunpoint until police arrived. The teens had run away from a juvenile rehabilitation camp just two days before. At 11:18 p.m. Friday, Cheltenham Township Police went to the Lynnewood Gardens apartments after a report of a shooting. They found Jasper Brisbon, 32, in the living room of one of the units, with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to Abidngton Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said Brisbon had forced his way into an apartment and confronted a resident, who got an AR-15 and insisted Brisbon leave. When Brisbon approached him instead, the resident fired one shot, then called 911, authorities said.
