LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas lawmakers are taking up a proposal to allow concealed handguns in church and a resolution encouraging government officials to not infringe on 2nd Amendment rights.
The Senate Judiciary Committee was expected Wednesday to consider a bill that would allow concealed handguns in churches. The measure by Republican Sen. Bryan King of Green Forest would allow churches and other places of worship to determine who could carry a concealed handgun into their facilities.
Concealed weapons are currently banned from churches.
The House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee also planned to consider a non-binding resolution by Republican Rep. Richard Womack of Arkadelphia encouraging state, local and federal officials to "respect and preserve the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment."

Yes we are! Received a reply from a state senator that things were getting out of hand in D.C., and he would oppose any 2nd amendment attacks from inside the beltway.

We have a duty, we southerners, to oppose this administration's madness. I hope collectively, we may be heard, and counted, as it seems the battlegrounds are huge metro areas of the country, where crime, corruption, and dishonesty have run rampant for years. They need to clean their own barns of excrement in those cities. It is insanity emanating from those cities. Ideas to combat their problems have firmly crossed the line from ignorant, to blatantly stupid.
