One teacher armed in each school does not make sense. As was said what if that person is off sick? Also some schools cover quite an area so what if the bad guy enters and starts shooting at the farthest point from that one person.

You need a minimum of three people located in different parts of the school. Preferably it would be best to have any teacher that wants to CCW be allowed to do so. Seriously, would it not be nice if a shooter entered and 6 teachers drew guns right away, with more on the way to help?

Anyone armed is better than no one armed. If it's publicized that there are armed persons CCing, but they're not identified, most of the cowards who pull off these attacks will look for a softer target. Hmmm,,, just another reason to publish a list of anti-gunners that includes addresses...

Colombine had guards. One was off eating lunch and got a call to come back to the school. It would be better to have some teachers with concealed carry.
