Yesterday I found a video on YouTube in which someone is shooting a AR-15. He puts a device in the AR lower behind the hammer. Then start shooting as full auto. It seems like a scam because they only accept money order, there is no phone number and their address is a FedEx box. When I looked up the company's information in the state database I can see that they are in fact a registered entity. The address for the entity is a house, which isn't necessarily anything bad. So then I find out the person's phone number and when I call I find the number is disconnected.

I know I'm new to the forum but I'm trying to find out if anyone has any information about this; if others will agree this seems to be a scam; or if someone has dealt with this company and had good information.

You don't need to buy anything like that. Do a search on "Bump Firing".
You can do this with your finger and a belt loop.

An item like that is a waste of money & ammo. The cost and scarcity of ammo you don't need it.

Haven't seen the specific video but it's called a DIAS or drop-in auto sear. It's basically an L-shaped piece of metal cut to precise dimensions that hooks around the disconnecter, rides underneath the rear takedown stud, then bends up to just barely contact the bolt carrier. When the BCG is returning to battery after firing, it catches on the top of the DIAS which pulls the disconnecter out of the way, allowing for full-auto fire. You can make them out of hacksaw blades and there are plans for them online, but be forewarned, actually making one is highly illegal without the proper FFL. There are older, properly manufactured and serialized DIAS that are registered under the NFA and on the market but like any other NFA full-auto item, they go for several thousand dollars.

I checked out the website, and trust me, you should avoid them at all costs. They are skating on thin ice. They are selling the "materials" for the sears, and making you bend them into shape. By selling the materials only, technically they are not breaking the law, but the second you buy one and bend it into shape, you are committing a federal felony by possessing an unregistered DIAS.

Like others have said, if you're really desperate for full-auto fire, use something that lets you bump fire like a slide-fire stock. I personally wouldn't buy one because I enjoy precision shooting to just dumping rounds down range but to each their own.
