Back in 2000 I was at a private range where all the "Patriots" were training because they were positive Clinton would declare Martial Law and never leave Office an bring in UN troops from Muslin nations to enforce his Martial Law and take away everyone's guns.

Anywho......... They were shooting an IDPA style match and there was a 21yo man there with a Jennings 9mm that he bought for $100.00 at a flea market. The "Patriots" were making fun of his Jennings and bragging about their Springfields and Kimbers.

Once all the blastin' was done I had the 1st and 2nd place scores in the match. For 1st place I used my box stock Norinco 1911A1 .45acp and for 2nd place I used the young man's Jennings 9mm.

Funny thing is the Jennings never hiccuped and several of the high end 1911s did.

IDPA is political? Lol. Why do members jump on the backs of other members just contributing to the forum? Nice xmas gift. Do you practice Festivus? Airing of grievances, feats of strength? Lol

No, I'm not talking about IDPA. I'm talking about Sten's "Patriots" remark, that's a political as well as an attempted insulting jab.
 
Maybe just maybe the guy is ok and you need to switch to decaf. Frankly i read posts and seldom notice who posts what. For me to take notice who is who, post after post has to be remarkably brilliant or remarkably foolish. Few people fall into this level of consistency. I do correct posts sometimes like i did yours for not being polite but i do not keep a scorecard of grievances. Its a internet forum. Many of the people here live in moms bacement and should be doing their high school algebra assignment. Get over it.

Sten could be an okay guy in person, I've no idea. I can't switch to decaf, too much to do. Okay, so you don't keep track of who posts what sort of thing over time, not my problem. I don't give a sh!t if you didn't think my post was polite, I wasn't talking to you. How would you know where or how "many of the people here live", or specifically that they would do so in their "mom's basement"? Knowing what I know about many of the members here, that is hardly the truth and is in fact very far from it. If you've got a problem with my posts to other members, it's you who needs to "get over it". Have a nice day.

I am a gun snob..... I dont like any that fail to work like they are supposed to. However, I dont badmouth the cheaper guns someone has (unless it is a jennings, lol) when that is all they can afford. There are many lower priced firearms that are very dependable, like Taurus, I would trust my life to one of them, I just dont expect them to last for 100k rounds... That is NOT what they are designed to do....

I'd trust my life to my Taurus PT1911. I just don't like Glocks so yes, I'm a gun snob. Normally I carry a stainless gun as I don't care for the really light weight of the polymer guns.
 
Yes, I have one in my Yugo, right next to the 8 track and the vote for Gore sticker with my Pall Malls.

I do have to admit that I actually like the little jennings 22s, they are a good looking little firearm... It is fun to take them out and try to get them to NOT jam or misfire.... I will say this for them though... they (I have owned probably 5 of them) have NEVER failed to fire on the first shot, Maybe if you just used them as a single shot?
