In much of the country, the Fourth Amendment seems to be irrelevant to numerous over-zealous Law Enforcement Officer's.
In the video below, a very unprofessional Los Angeles cop threatens to illegally search a rental car because she has 'an issue' with it's occupants. The officer has not witnessed any crime, does not have probable cause, but still wants to illegally search the car.
Note: the video contains explicit language.

A bit of advice to the officer in question;
"Pin up your long hair & try wearing a properly fitted uniform...Because you look & act like an unprofessional slob!"

I would not trust this sloppy, foul mouthed 'hag' with cleaning my house, let alone carrying a gun & wearing a badge.

Is 'this' what passes for 'Law Enforcement' nowaday's??

It appears to me that government at all levels, and a lot of 'liberals', want us to think our Fourth Amendment rights are dead. But they'll start to revive as soon as we start to actively resist such treatment.

We'd best start resisting fast as this behavior is now common. 15 years ago, this officer wouldn't have even thought to act like that and if she was filmed doing it - I'm pretty sure it would have been at a desk job for a long time, if not fired for threatening someones rights like that. Even on YouTube, this womon will probably only get some ribbing from her collegues and a, "maybe be more careful next time" from her superiors.

Definitely OTR...

Now it's rogue cops like her starting fights. Must be in an abusive relationship with another cop?

Normally, I wouldn't waste my time looking or listening to what Alex Jones had to say, but this caught my eye, for some reason.

I watched a segment on 60 minutes last night (I think) where troopers/cops in Philadelphia (I think) were going door to door practicing some commendable good neighbor diplomacy in those neighborhoods taken-over by gangs. They befriended many adults and kids in those neighborhoods by winning their trust with neighborly, courteous, and genuine behavior. The residents started talking because these cops went beyond the call of duty to treat those residents with dignity and respect, backed-up with lots of smiles.

It worked. I believe gang violence was touted to be reduced 25 percent because of residents' tips in those areas. I was stunned at the cooperation. This is the way it should be. Granted, those cops were consummate, outgoing pros in the field, but dead serious on busts.

Lots more work to be done, but it was refreshing to see residents and cops not playing any loathing and animosity.

This is what the police should be doing in these troubled communities and I'm sure they're genuine in their outreach. If other police forces and individual officers were trained, directed, and incentivised to act like this toward ALL residents, honoring ALL of our rights, many of the examples we expose and complain about would never happen.
