Let me start with this; I am brand new to gun ownership and licensing. I am interested in getting a small defense handgun and a concealed carry license in Broome County. I have obtained the application, but am having some difficulty in finding out relevant information. Can someone suggest some good information (websites, books, professionals, etc.) that can assist me in obtaining not only the licensing but training as well. As stated, I am very new to this and am currently reading up on anything I can and speaking to other gun owners that I am acquainted with.
