Applied for my Non-Resident CCW!

Well the journey begins having applied for my Non-Resident CCW in Idaho. I should know within 4 - 8 weeks if I have it.

I've passed state and federal background checks in the past so all being well I'll be able to share with you folks on here the good news soon!

Idaho recognizes ALL concealed carry permits from any state, so why get an Idaho non resident permit?

Possibly because the OP's home state would not grant him a permit, or Idaho is easier to get and it is good in whatever states that he needs it for.

You're right. I had just checked the USA Carry maps and must have "clicked" on the wrong state. Now I just have to figure out which state I was looking at instead of Idaho. The sad part of my erroneous statement is that I have 2 sons living in Idaho and make frequent trips to visit and I carry there with my AZ permit. Mea culpa. And, thanks for setting me straight.
