For those of you that carry appendix ISWB, how do you justify breaking rule number two?

Simple. It's in a holster. Guns don't go off by themselves.

What's "rule #2?" I carry at about 3:30 btw..or about 8:30-8:45 when I carry leftie.
Source: Gun safety - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaThe rules of gun safety follow from this mindset. There are many variations, and one of them is the Four Rules introduced by Colonel Jeff Cooper, which are:
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

I think he's referring to the rule that says: "Never point the weapon at anything you don't intend to destroy."
And of course rule #2 isn't literal. Your muzzle regularly is pointed at things you don't wish to destroy. There is no way that you can not.
