A few weeks ago I signed up for an email news letter from Front Sight. I've received the free info package and watched the DVD and everything seems really Cool. But I'd like some input from you guys, as your input is trusted over anything that comes in a google search.

I've been to the four day defensive handgun course twice and graduated both times. I loved the training. The four day defensive handgun training course is a tough class to earn a graduation certificate from. Both times I went there were 44 people in our class and only six of us graduated. The rest received certificates of achievement. This was due to the skills test on the last day. If you'd like more info on Front Sight send me a personal email.

Can you be a bit more descriptive as to what you saw that you didn't like?

Being that they are a site supporter of USA Carry, I won't blast them publicly. All I will say is safety issues as well as a difference of opinion in the way they run their classes.

Front sight

I've gone to Front Sight 3 time now and have enjoyed each one. The training is exceptional and safety is paramount. I just signed up for lifetime membership.

I've got a few certificates and eyeballing going out in the fall. Site supporter or not, I'd like to hear pros and cons before I drop serious money to go out there, or write off my $65 classes.

Legacy Life member... Planning a trip back in late spring... I've had a good experience there in the past. The classes have gotten bigger as more and more people have gotten armed. Go there with an open mind and try not to bring along old habits and be resistive to new training. Go there to learn new skills... Safety is a huge priority on the site and the range officers take it very seriously. They do get ugly if they perceive people disregarding safety. I saw it happen last trip.. There was yelling...

Shooting Distinguished Graduate is my goal for the next trip.

I'd like to go sometime to check it out but traveling across the country just doesn't make it feasible for me...I know one thing for sure - He will sure keep your email inbox full of salesmanship....

Good investment

I've attended several times, taken my kids, my husband, my mother-in-law and my friends. The teachers are professional and low-key, the other students are great, and the classes are top-notch. Everyone has different ways of doing stuff. Go with an open mind and have fun while you sharpen your skills. Even people who have never held a gun will leave with more confidence, ability, and safety.

I'm leaving at the end of this month to attend a 4 day Defensive Handgun class. I'll give a full review when I return. I'll be riding my bike down from Seattle to Pahrump, Nv. I'm looking forward to the ride and attending the class. I'm not looking forward to being disarmed on my journey down there. Neither Oregon or Nevada has reciprocosity with Washington state CPL's. I have a Utah CPL and that doesn't help me out either. I'll be coming back thru Idaho on my return trip so I can open carry when I'm riding.
