Ive been wanting to go for a few years w the wife. Really wish the East Coast had such an Adult Playground like this.

Anyway, do you stay on site or how far are hotels, amenities etc.. ?

Any insite all the entire program would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks
 
There are no lodgings onsite. The closest is Pahrumph, about 20 minutes away. They are all familiar with Font Sight customers. You could stay in Vegas but it's 45-55 minutes away.
There is a company that supplies ammo onsite or a truck at the turnoff of the main highway. The links they send when you register for a course are very helpful.
 
I took my wife to the 2day defensive handgun course first and she really liked it and insisted on doing the 4 day course next. After doing bith, she said she would have rather just done the 4 day. She now shoots USPSA local matches with me and really enjoys them...makes it much easier to buy gun stuff! ;-)
 
not yet but i'd love to make it out west and check it out some day
but that will take some time to save the $$$$$$ for a trip like that and i already blew way over my budget already at this time
 
What state are you in? I'm not sure about front sight but I know of a place in Camden tn that has numerous training courses and also offers mobile courses in cities on a training circuit. It is called tactical response.

I work with some guys who got there high risk civilian contractor training through them and they give them props. I know they offer beginner all the way to high expertise transition and executive protection courses.
 
tennessee is beautiful in the autumn season
y'all have fun up there and out west at front sight .
i'd love to visit out west also too see the grand canyons and the awesome natural places there someday
 
My daughter and I went in 2010 and took the intermediate pistol class. We stayed at the Best Western. Well worth the trip and cost. Nothing like 5 days of shooting and bonding with your daughter. Even a set in there ways person like me picked up quite allot of new and useful information.

Im in the PEoples Rep of NJ, however am a Former active duty army MO SGT and now a Retired NJ Civilian Cop, w instructor creds, wife has been to NRA HG course and gors w me to my old pd's outdoor range .. Ive been thru Army SRT and PSD schools, S&W's gun fighters course but it looks like we wld have fun, my 22yo cld lesrn something though..

I have been to a few classes at TR as well. Me and my daughter go to a class every year or two somewhere. I have been to the majority of the "big boy's" facilities. All have plenty to offer. While you do see the occasional "Mall ninja" the instructors in every place I have ever been are very on the ball when it comes to rules. Most places you get one chance that's it. In any class other then the absolute beginner sweeping or anything of that type and your gone no questions asked. The other students are a non issue. you learn from the instructors and as of yet I have not had one that was anything but professional at any of the places I have been to.
 
Once you make any contact with F.S. you will need to block them, from your email. They are relentless spammers. The training is not what it was but still good. With all the $250 lifetime memberships they are now selling again they are attracting people who are just going for the fun and a week end getaway rather than the type of people Thunder Ranch and the like attract which is people really set on becoming proficient. The last few times I have been there the partiers as some call them took away from the seriousness of the course IMO. No more turning targets, no more night shoots and a lot of people who should be in a NRA basic pistol class first as they do not even know how to hold a pistol let alone shoot one (if you have reasonable shooting skills you will be most likely bored to death the first two days waiting for all the stop and starts to accommodate the new bees). NRA has a new course for instructors to teach and Front sight is not even on the list of qualifying courses for instructors to use to get certified, but thunder ranch and others are. It’s cheap and worth the time but they are always trying to get some more money out of you through the latest “ don’t miss this as it will never be back “ promotion that returns the next month for many times less than what you paid. You will not regret going but F.S. has lost a lot of its Mojo with serious shooters and you will be stuck in the basic courses until you graduate with a certain score or distinguished, then you will go on to a course that is more challenging. My wife just can’t make it, she gets close but not just not fast enough and feels that if she try’s any harder it won’t be safe. So I just have to keep taking the same old course with her over and over. She could benefit from more advanced training; it’s not all about speed. She is incredibly accurate. Safe and reasonably fast just not quite enough for F.S.

He said a few months ago, I know I keep saying this is it, no more lifetime memberships and then I do it again but this is it no more! Well he is a liar because here it is again. It will be here in 6 months and then a year from now, it always is as long as I have been there. There is a sucker born every minute and that’s what he is looking for suckers. Buy the cheap memberships, stripped down go there over and over again, get your money’s worth out of it. It will still cost you $1000 by the time you get a hotel, feed yourself and travel expenses. Fitness clubs call it membership under utilization. Sell 700% more than ever could come because 650% will drop out. Just get your money out of it, use it as much as you can.

Another option would be to spend money attending courses at a reputable company and get "quality" training. The place isn't all that it's made out to be. There are other superior options out there.
 
Every day a new “you will regret not buying lifetime memberships to sell for me”. An interesting note, it says this latest email that is going out to lifetime members only as is this offer, do not forward this to anyone. “For Lifetime Members ONLY! Do Not Forward to Anyone Else!”
Then it goes on to say if you are not already a life time member?
“ If you are not already a member and specifically a Diamond Lifetime, you should do so NOW because when I reveal the spectacular news exclusively and confidentially to our lifetime members only, you will be equally amazed and ecstatic over your foresight and good fortune to become a Diamond Lifetime member (and you will wish you had MORE Diamond Memberships!) “
So, if I am not already a life time member why did I get the email if the offer is just for lifetime members?
This is the crap you will get every day!! He already said a few months ago there will never be anymore life time memberships sold. You can’t believe anything form F.S.

FS according to IP had run out of Front Site guns two times already well over what they ever expected from another promotion earlier this year. He even said he had to get the manufacturer to make another run for the back orders. So how can you now get one of the first FS guns ever produced with this current promotion unless he plans not to ship first the guns he already sold for money from the last promotion first? So ship the guns that are paid for to the people who are getting free guns with this promotion? Didn’t someone go to jail for doing something like this once.
 
In his latest scam, he strung his current members along for months teasing them about some spectacular news that he would be announcing. So if you take advantage of his offer you will soon see why it was a great opportunity. So I am sure many purchased the offer. But wait, if you want to see the spectacular news now that you purchased the offer you can only see it if you purchase the next step for over $4000. So all you suckers that purchased the current offer can’t see what he promised you would kick yourself in the head if you did not participate unless you drop another $4000 plus. Is anyone seeing the scam? What if you need to go to the next level and then the next? This is the secrets of the super wealthy a class he will also be happy to take your money for if you chose go to this class of his. A sucker is born every minute!!!!!
