Michelle Schimel is an avid member of the New Yorkers against gun violence and she is speerheading the microstamping bill. She is often on the same page as Carolyn McCarthy and continues to spearhead legislation to restrict firearms in the state of ny. She is currently up for reelection. She is outspending the local republican by leaps and bounds and has signs up all over. This is an issue for all of NY state, not just the Assembly's 16th district in Great Neck.
