The disgraced former congressman — who’s sitting on a $4.5 million campaign war chest — is mulling a bid for citywide office next year and “seriously considering” a mayoral run, multiple sources told The Post.

I will never understand the NYC thought process when it comes to elections. Apparently, who ever has the most scandals, or at least the most covered by the press, gets to be mayor. And I thought Bloomberg was an annoyance to the rest of the state, Weiner would be in the news 24 hours a day.

It could happen. Look at Washington DC, Barry gets arrested and convicted of a felony, gets kick out of the mayor position, serves his prison time then runs and gets re-elected mayor. Gee I wonder why Washington DC is such an arm pit.
