Another reason Teachers should CC on campus

The mothers reaction is a testament to why this country is going down the tubes. "he didn't own a gun". Not MY son. Maybe her sixteen year old son should have been doing his homework.

Saw the same thing. Had the teacher NOT have been a reserve LEO, he'd a been arrested. What kind of insanity has let society get this far?

5 bucks the 16 year old has other events in his record that ole mom is aware of yet she still has the audacity to make that claim. Eyes wide shut!

seen it earler, thats the problem!DC has no Idea what the real world is like, lets say when a lady gets off work at a hospital at midnight in a not so good area and has to get to her car,or drive through a bad place to get to work and pray that you dont have car trouble or drive home out in the country where there is no cell phone service.

The mothers reaction is a testament to why this country is going down the tubes. "he didn't LEGALLY own a gun". Not MY son. Maybe her sixteen year old son should have been doing his homework.

This is what she really meant to say. "he was a good boy" or words like it are uttered for every underaged, gang-banger wannbe who gets in trouble in the D.

Once again a criminal uses a gun.

Just glad to see the legally carrying coach was able to defend himself.

That's the point! This little duchebag should pay the piper BIG TIME!
But alas no, they will slap his wrist and tell him not to do it again...
And we wonder why things are so screwed up.

It should be against the law for 16 yr olds to own or have a gun to rob with...

Robbing is illegal, robbing with a gun is VERY illegal, 16 year olds can have guns as far as I'm concerned, as we rely on parents to do their part first, the parent has to buy them the gun anyhow (at least in states that allow minors to possess firearms).

However, if the 16 year old breaks the law with the firearm then the PARENT should be held accountable. Actually the parent should be held accountable if their child breaks any serious laws...

Kid picked the wrong person...His mother's attitude and response screams of her parenting skills and indicate the problem in enabling her son.

It's easier for the liberals to make an excuse for why the kid is a problem like "she's a single mother" or "he came from a broken family". That way it justifies them when they attack the gun. It's reverse accountability. That's it reverse accountability!

All mothers will want to believe the best of their kids. I cant blame anyone for an initial reaction to any kind of tragic news.

We also need to remember a big part of how the kids are brought up is on our government. I am not against govt in general but some of the parenting laws scare parents into letting the kids now grow up not having common sense or knowing respect at all. But look at the local levels as well, schools now are not allowed to disappoint any of the children... trophies for all, no musical chairs or dodgeball because SOMEONE WILL be out!
When I was in school my teachers and principal had paddles. When they were done then it was mom and dads turn. I was never beaten but i learned who was boss, and i knew i would at times not win the game. It didn't ruin my life or make me a mean or depressed person. I do think some people need direction and guidance with their children but it need to be in a different format.

Wow sorry for the winded post.
On my phone no less.
