Where were the cops during the actual attempt, oh yea, donuts, not blaming just saying. Unabridged 2nd Amendment. God Bless Texas.

The more we stand up for ourselves and what is ours the less othere will be tempted to try and take it away from us. Good guy wins again.

As soon as i read this paragraph I thought "I bet he was involved..."

During this time, another man, later identified as Jason Allen Doster, 36, called 911 to say he had been assaulted and his truck stolen by an unknown man. The vehicle he described matched the description of the suspect's vehicle in the attempted burglary, which deputies had found abandoned under the carport of the burglarized home.

Doesn't Texas have a felony murder law?

In NYS he could be charged with felony murder. In the Hernandez case, a police officer killed by a bullet from another police officer's weapon during a gun battle with the Hernandez. The court held that Hernandez could be prosecuted for felony murder.

More stories like this should be reported so the ilks of the Jacksons and the Sharptonites have nothing to crow about.

Here is another way to look at it. We are helping our anti-gun neighbors. The more we arm ourselves, the more face time those neighbors get to spend with the police - - filing theft reports.:meeting:

Did you see the comments after the article? People are calling for the heads of the homeowners.

Yes I saw.. however, knowing our Washington State Constitution and RCW's.. only one of those three case's has anything that I know of that might be chargeable.. I won't spill the beans in a public forum as if the wrong person is reading.. action might be taken..
CORRECTION: Those three did include a retired LEO who killed one of burglars who were trying to break into his home recently..

Kinda cool that he shot him inside and got him to drop outside. Less blood to have to clean up after the dirtbag.

+1

Don't most criminals commit crimes for money when they have none of their own? And when the NoK find his wallet empty and the police find your fingerprints on it, you get to be charged for looting the corpse.

When you only have seconds to spare the police are only minutes away...That is why most of them report crime instead of stop crimes.

They spend there time being dispatched from crime scene to crime scene to collect evidence, take statements and make police reports. Very few officers ever stop a crime during a 911 call. Most of the crimes that police do stop are because a dumb criminal did something really dumb in the wrong place at the wrong time.
