The examples in the video are very startling and would lead some to becoming very paranoid of walking anywhere without a group.

You won’t believe what kids are doing for fun these days. It’s a game, called Knockout, where you hit a random person in the head, with the goal of hitting them so hard that they pass out. Behold – the future of America, folks.

Some who have read and posted on this thread seem to believe this is old hat and is only in Jersey, wrong on both counts.

I'd love to move to Italy. They allow weapons at home and if approved concealed carry. Somewhere in the Tuscan countryside would be the dream.

This game is not new. It was a favorite among the Hmong gangbangers at my middle school in the 90s. Problem with that was that they were too small to knock anybody but each other out.
 
I've seen this video and had it confirmed by other sources. This is the result of a permissive society, parents who take no responsibility for themselves or kids, and a government that worries more about the kid's self-esteem rather than teaching responsibility. It doesn't take a village to raise a child; it takes 2 good parents.

But all is not hopeless even thought government seems to be trying to make people more dependent and less responsible. There are still rural areas and small towns where family, God, patriotism, and responsibility"still exist. Utopia doesn't exist and never will. But there are many good people and juveniles who offer hope for the future.The really good kids don't get enough recognition or attention. Unfortunately, the government and public schools are trying to replace parents and make their children into good little members of the collective.

Excellent post, however, you left out one important point... The empowerment of the criminal class by the Progressive Socialists in D.C.

These attacks don't usually occur in "bad" neighborhoods, thus your guard isn't necessarily at its highest. So attacking from behind when your mind is somewhere else is successful most of the time. But as they say, there's safety in numbers. I really see no other solution for the time being. It's a crime of opportunity and there's a lot of opportunities.
 
If I remember right, a while back there was a story about a group in some city playing this game and one of there intended victims shot one of them. I don`t remember if the person died or not, but I wouldn`t be upset if they did because they deserved what they got.
 
Imagine why Knockout is played predominantly in NJ. Could it be that people there have an extremely hard time with their right to defend themselves since the "gubmint" seems to know what is best for the citizenry (in case you missed the point, it's really hard to get the privilege to own a gun and carry it there)? Apparently getting jacked up by thugs for fun is best for the citizenry. I'm fairly sure, if a few of these punks get a round in them, this game will stop.

The gov't of NJ wants the thugs to do it so the citizens know what it is going to be like when the NJ gov't does it to them later.
 
I'll be back in a few days. I'm still writing-down all the new words I learned from the video. This may take a while.

I wish he would have said, "do what you have to do to protect yourselves" more, instead of shoot the MFs.

Head on a swivel, situational awareness. Good advice.
