Someone told me their are laws on what kind of amunition you can use in Ohio. But could not tell me what they are. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, what are they?

Not sure, but if its sold in local stores, its probably legal, you can look on your state websites under the Ohio state police FAQs and I am sure it will be posted on there, aside from that, most websites, if restrictions are held against a certain grade of ammunition, it will be labeled on the website below the ammo.
Hope this helps, then again, I dont think police will care too much, a bullet is a bullet, they all shoot, who cares what its made of. JMHO

Pure baloney. There are no such laws in Ohio.

Any time someone tells you about a law, ask them to specify what section of Ohio Revised Code they are referring to.

He was just someone I work with. I live and work in west Virginia, right on the Ohio river he lives in Ohio.

It's a shame. We have enough regulations and prohibitions that are in real statutes. We need to know our laws and know what those regulations and prohibitions are instead of believing the false ones based on hearsay. (Speaking in regards to the someone, not the OP)
