Ammo's Back

My Local Walmart has just about every caliber of ammo they stock sitting on the shelves.
Guy I know behind the counter said by Christmas they expect all ammo to be full and totally available.

My Wally is still pretty spotty. They're putting other things on the ammo shelves, like optics and such.

On the other hand, Cabela's has a pretty good stock - even 9mm is piled up.

Online you can find a lot of options other than .22lr. It's hat to believe .223 was rare for awhile, since it was overflowing off the shelves.

I work at the largest gun store in MN and we can't keep any 9mm or .380 stocked. It sells out too fast still

My Walmart had a lot more than usual today. Some .380, a little .38, and lots of .40. Still no 9mm and no .22.

Wal-Mart here in NMB had .25, 380, 9mm 40 45 and lots of other stuff, still no 22 though....

Went by the Walmart closest to my house today and all I was able to find was a 100 round value pack of 40 S&W - of which they had A LOT! Nothing else in terms of 9mm, 45ACP, 380 Auto, 38 Special, or 357 magnum.

Then I'm not going to mention the 8 boxes of 555 rounds or the 20+ boxes of 100 rounds.
Since its "Christmas Time" they are getting trucks every day here so ammo is flowing at the moment.

Good to hear things are improving a bit. I'll head out to my local WW tomorrow and see if any 22LR and .45ACP are on the shelves.

As a newby, I'm learning my way around. I have noticed in my area ammo is still scare and expensive. My best bet to purchase ammo seems to the Academy Sports. I have not checked Wal-Mart yet.

The ammo shortage improved quite a bit in my area a few months ago.
