That guy got some great shots of the event in Denver, but he also has some great slogan-type of pics that I've never seen before. Thinking they may be his original work, but whatever, here's a few of 'em.

I attended the rally in St Paul, MN. There were hundreds there even though it was cold and windy. I was surprised that there were no anti-gun people there. I also did not see any LEOs there either. I have attended TEA Party rallies and there were anti-Tea Party people and LEOs also. It was a good rally. We were urged to e-mail, phone, hand write letters and go to the offices of our elected officials in person. We were also urged to contact the Sheriff and Chief of Police in our communities and urge them to stand up for the 2nd Amendment. We must do this to show the obummer morons that, "They have awaken a sleeping giant." We all must do this and get all our Families, friends and neighbors to get off their duff and fight. All it would take is 5-10 minutes a day for a couple of weeks to to this. Sitting on the couch and hoping things will get better will not do it. So please do all you can and then do a little more. Promise the elected officials that they WILL be held accountable. For all to long they have not been held accountable and that has been OUR fault.

Absolutely fantastic. I knew ahead of time that I was not going to be able to get to the capitol today so to show my support I went to a couple of gun stores and bought some stuff that I really didn't need.

New York State Governor Cuomo cares more about posturing and grand standing than about protecting the safety of children in school. Has any politico bothered to look at the connection between school shootings and the use of pharmaceutical anti-depressants such as Prozac, Zoloft, and Celexa for starters???

Certainly not our mindless Governor, damn the facts, he's full speed ahead with his personal agenda!

Those pictures show a bunch of folks packing rifles - some are even black and have pistol grips, meaning they're more dangerous than the rest! And yet no shootings occurred? I thought guns caused violence?? And yet with a relatively high density of guns in these areas, nobody was murdered?? There must be some mistake!!

Interesting, when did molon labe become a Latin phrase.
Gotta love the media! :bad:
Latin Greek - It's all Greek to me.

I am disappointed in Drudge giving it only one little link. He must be trying to liked by the media types.
Here are pics from Buffalo and Albany which is ground zero in the fight.

Other states are expected to follow New York. Don't let it happen people.
The ownership of a firearm has become political like it or not!
They have fired the first shot not us.

I attended the Idaho 2nd Amendment celebration yesterday. Was probably 500+ inside the Capital building. I'm guessing about 90% carrying about 40% of those being long guns. No troublemakers showed up and it was a great experience. Our event coordinator, Russell, did a wonderful job took pics as did others. We had 2 tv stations cover favorably and also the Idaho Statesman favorably.

Was a great time! Link to our event: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151678622750550.617207.512440549&type=1

Thousands rally against stricter gun control in U.S.
By WILL WEISSERT

AUSTIN, Texas— Gun advocates — some with rifles slung across shoulders or pistols holstered at the hip—have rallied peacefully in state capitals nationwide against President Barack Obama's sweeping federal gun-control proposals.

Summoned via social media for the "Guns Across America" event, participants gathered Saturday for protests large and small against stricter limits sought on firearms. Only a few dozen turned out in South Dakota and a few hundred in Boise, Idaho. Some 2,000 turned out in New York and large crowds also rallied in Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington state.

What stands out to me and what I would like to see continue to be part of the reporting is "have rallied peacefully."

A show of force but a composed, in control show of force.

Couldn't go to the one in our capitol, had to work. All media reports say "hundreds" attended. The governor spoke, among others, including the state congressman that has introduced legislation stating that weapons manufactured in MS are governed by state law and do not fall under Federal law.

The liberal local paper called it "peaceful but spirited".

A few miles away, a 21 year old man was shot in the chest at the MLK parade. At this time no one is trying to connect it with the rally.
