During POTUS state of the Union Adress last night we heard not one word about a fallen Patriot, Yet we heard the same vile spewed out of his mouth as we put the gas pedal down and race at break neck speed towards Socialism. So unless I am wrong here we have POTUS who orderes the flags to be at half mast when a Whitney Houston died of a drug overdose, Yet we can not even be troubled to mention the name of an American Hero who fought for this country? Well let me be the first to say I am ashamed of our POTUS, and ashamded of the total and utter flagrant lack of respect and disregard for Mr. Kyle's family! May God rest his soul and walk with his family in their time of Sorrow as they strugle to find a new normal. And may God have mercy on us as we struggle do our best to ensure a right and just nation and seek to ensure the preservaton of our liberty.

What I heard in the State of the Union Address....

I, the great and powerful Obama, Messiah to the leftists, Grand Master to the Socialists, most important factor in furthering the New World Order and One World Government, and sock puppet of George Soros.. blah, blah, blah, ....will grant citizenship to millions of illegal aliens because they will vote for socialism and redistribution of YOUR wealth....blah, blah, blah, .... will increase taxes so I can get more of your money to spend making life even more miserable for you but really really nice for me and my ilk....blah, blah, blah, .... and I will take away your guns so there will be no chance of any opposition to my plans/desires/ambitions....blah, blah, blah, .... and the commoners, you know, "them the people" may now bow to show they know their place.

At least that is what I heard said between the lines. But then, perhaps I am just too cynical?

The answer to your thread is "NO". I do not watch TV news anymore. I might as well watch Josef Goebbels tell me how wonderful Hitler is. Everyday is another assault on this country and an insult to me. He is a pathetic shining example of what this asylum run by it inmates, previously known as the USA, has become. As far as the Kenyan Commie goes, we know 99% of "Muslim terrorism" comes from the Wahhabist sect of Suuni Islam. We know that, with very few exceptions, you are what you were raised as. Until he was 10, Barry Soetoro was raised as a Wahhabist Muslim. We know that "God Damn America!" church (if you can call it a church) that he belongs to is run by a "former Muslim." We know that to a Wahhabist on jihad, ANY deception is acceptable if it furthers the cause. We see that Barack Hussein Obama (those are Arab names, not African) won't wear jewelry during Ramadan, not even a wristwatch or wedding ring. Yet millions of fools still adore him and vote for him. Soon enough, many of us will be dead; at this point, "death by terminal stupidity" is unavoidable. Let's hope it's mostly liberal "Obamatons." 1. I did not watch the love fest or the reply, deciding instead to watch mindless drivel instead of subjecting myself to the rise in blood pressure I would have suffered if I had watched the teleprompter-in-chief spewing his usual garbage.
2. What POTUS says in these speeches is for the mindless masses and masks what he intends to do. This administration has to be evaluated by its actions, not by some fancy sounding speech. They are mired in their radical agenda and only actions that further that agenda are important to them. This is why they could do the photo ops honoring the Seals that took down Bin Laden and the lady cop that helped take down the Ft. Hood shooter but the Seal "shooter" and lady cop are now left out in the cold. Same thing as the promises made to the Hurricane Sandy victims to “take care of them” but there are still many residing in tents. I believe 0% this administration promises but look at the generic messages they send as their direction: health care takeover, extreme gun control, restrict oil production, more regulation/control of more areas of life, “stimulus” to friends and supporters, legalizing illegals, etc.
3. Do not look for anything this group does to promote traditional values. This includes the failure to honor the service of Chris Kyle, or the Seal that was the Bin-Laden shooter or the woman cop at Ft. Hood that helped stop the Ft. Hood shooter’s rampage or anything else. But honoring a black "icon" with half-staff flags is fine to this group. This plays to the "base" that thinks he is "one of them".
4. I don’t know that I have seen one article, blog, etc. that calls the President to task for the thousands of miles he has flown, at taxpayer expense to promote all his radical agenda. Now I hear we are in for 60 days of this constant bombardment to promote his latest agenda. Why isn't his campaign having to pay for his campaigning instead of us taxpayers? He is campaigning! At least limit the amount the President can use for air travel without Congressional approval.


These are my opinions, based upon living in this country for almost seven decades, based upon my perceptions developed in my studies as a history major and my lifelong pursuit of knowledge. My primary studies were at a time it was considered ok to love this country and stand up for truth and justice for all (not what a slanted media and government wants us to perceive as truth and justice.) Even a very "liberal" professor I had at that time espoused these values. Can we ever recapture "reality" again?

I don't understand what you mean by that statement. Kyle was making a poor choice at the time of his death, or poor choices earlier in his life? I don't think the comparison with a pop singer is fair or accurate.

At the time of his death, Kyle had made a very poor choice. Giving a mentally unstable individual access to weapons is wanton disregard for the consequences. If an innocent person not engaged in that event had been killed the innocent victim's blood would have been on Kyle's hands. No different than giving an intoxicated person the keys to your car so drive himself home.
