We are building a woman friendly gun store in West Albuquerque, New Mexico.

What is your idea of a woman friendly shop?

What would you like to see in the shop?

Albuquerque GUNS is an ethical and honest shop that will never lie or intentionally mislead you. We say what we mean and we mean what we say. Some of you have found this has not always been the case at other shops. Many of you have experienced empty promises with little or no follow through or were flat out lied to. Our word is everything to us. Without honest, ethical and trusting relationships we cannot hope to grow and survive. We plan on providing exceptional Customer Service to our customers for decades to come.

If this is something you want to be a part of, we are seeking investors to help us grow. Contact Us for an investment proposal.

Our shop is looking to set a new standard for Customer Service and change the way business has been conducted in New Mexico. You will always get the truth, good or bad, and you can bank on honest communication and information from us.

We invite you to educate us. We don’t know everything and we don’t claim to, but we will always strive to give you the most accurate and complete information about your purchase… and when asked, we will give you our opinion on the product or service.

You want a certain item we don’t have in stock here at Albuquerque GUNS, we will do everything we can to get it for you and there is NO extra or hidden charges for special orders.

Albuquerque Guns is a Woman-Veteran Owned Albuquerque, NM business dedicated to the shooting sports and protecting our second Amendment Rights for all United States Citizens.

As a frequent gun store customer the thing I notice most that is missing is GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! At least at our local gun store/indoor range. If they "think" you're there to buy, everyone is smiling and enthusiastic. If you're there "to shoot," you're practically invisible. NOT good customer relations. The only reason we even go there is that it is the only indoor range in Battle Creek. I bought my first carry weapon there because of a friend's referral, but will not buy any more simply because of the frosty treatment. You can pass these guys in the store and they do not even recognize you even though you regularly shoot at their place of business. And if you REALLY want to succeed, try following up on your customers AFTER YOU'VE MADE THE SALE. If they don't have a heart attack because of your call, they will be back! Best of luck!

I hear you Denny, and thanks for the suggestions. I like the followup phone call idea. I was also thinking of having a round table setup for woman's discussion groups in the afternoons and evenings. Kind of setting up a safe location for their meetings.

I like the direction you are going with your customer service. One piece of advice...when a man and women come into the store together give them equal attention and when she returns alone don't let the service be anything less. My local gun shop is very guilty of assuming the lady knows nothing. Hence my ccw instructors comment that the women should allow their men to teach them to clean their own guns. My boyfriend looked at me and I said "yea honey I will teach you to clean you gun".
