There's a ton of red flags in this story but something isn't adding up to me. I would have to assume the teen shot the other merely for having scared him or his draw time (and aim) must have been impressive to see. Getting scared and in milliseconds still getting off a head shot? I know they were in close proximity of one another but still hard to believe.

I have just Googled the story and it sounds very fishy to me. I would tend to suspect that it sounds more like a bunch of boys playing with one of their grandmother's gun and accidently killing another, and now all of the survivors are trying to help cover up what really happened. Just my opinion, for what little it is worth.
