Al Sharpton, the RAT!

My wife says I have a very warped, dark sense of humor. She may be right, but I just saw a piece on "The Five" about motormouth Al Sharpton that made me howl!:laugh: I knew he'd been (accused) of trafficking drugs, but it turns out that he was ALSO an informant for the FBI!

Now I only know what I read regarding informants but it's my limited knowledge that most informaqnts "co-operate" with the FBI to beat some charges or for a reduced sentence.

I've always felt that Al and Jesse Jackson's dad were crooks, but that's just my opinion.

Now the REALLY FUNNY thing, in my warped view is that Sharpton, according to "The Five," is responsible for bringing down at least THREE major mobsters who are (did) serving time. Members of the Genovese Family, I believe. Fox showed pix of three of them.

So, I wonder how long mob's memory is? And if Al's life insurance is paid up?

To refer to him as "the Reverend" Al Sharpton is an afront to preachers, pastors and ministers everywhere. I don't think he actually has a church. I've never seen where he is even been ordained. I ask if anyone knows for sure id he has a degree in theology, and from where?

I have no idea, but I do know you can get them on the internet. So there are really no special requirements.

Sharpton was licensed and ordained a Pentecostal minister by Bishop F.D. Washington at the age of nine or ten.

From what I understand, a church can ordain whoever it wants. Still, I agree SR9, I wouldnt want to be lumped in with him if I was a real preacher.

I guess that you have two choices when the mafia threatens you. Choice one is to succumb to those threats and choice two go to the federal authorities (FBI) and tell them that threats have been made on your life. He chose the later. How do you become a RAT when you were never a part of the organization? As defined; One who betrays or deserts friends or associates. The Rev. has been preaching since he was a kid. He is ordained and is a real life preacher. I can accuse you of being many things but, that does not make those things that I am accusing you of true. One again, my fellow members of the gun community only want to tell the side of the supports there dislike for the man, the person.

Absolutely. He has done enough lying and race baiting that one need not look further to find reasons to criticize him.

Today he is saying he was "assisting" law enforcement. There was a former mafioso on the news the other day who stated that some of Al's information helped put his father in prison. The father is 97 years old now and most likely will not live much longer. Will Al go to the funeral? By the way leadsender, the news said that the Feds had picked up Al for his misdeeds, not a death threat, and he had the option of going to jail or ratting out his associates. I doubt we will ever get the actual truth but, to say that he was "assisting" law enforcement is a definite stretch.
