Airgun that acts like a semi-auto

Hey want to practice/learn shooting in my basement or garage. I'd like to have a air gun that has a slide action and some bit of a recoil. Any such thing in a handgun airgun?

Never seen it in a rifle but I know walmart used to walther co2 pistols that the slide actually kicked back to mimic recoil.. it had some pep for a bb pistol and is semi auto pretty sure it was around 30 bucks someone decided they needed mine more than I did :-(

what you are looking for is a gas blow back airsoft. They will give you the most realistic size, battle of arms, and weight. The best ones being made out of metal "(e: Marui), can be expensive $100+. There are cheaper plastic ones. Look up airsoft stores >> handguns >> gbb (gas blow back). They use green gas (propane with no smell) or co2. The recoil is less than a .22 handgun. I do not believe any air operated pistol can mimick an explosion.

I have not come aross co2 pellet (not airsoft) pistols with blowback operation. I have not looked for them though, but it seems others have seen them.

The other option there is, like others have said, is a paintbal pistol. There are pretty ridiculous ones (Tippmann and Zues) being as big as a desert eagle if not bigger. The recoil is also not the slide, but just the bolt moving inside. There is more realistic paintball pistols that shoot a .50 cal paintball, with blowback action.

I have 2 things you would like.
Gamo makes a blow back co2 powered metal BB pistol. It has a magazine and the slide moves backwards.

The most realistic airsoft gun I have uses plastic BBs and is a replica of the Beretta 92fs. Same size, same functions. I believe I got it from airsoftgi.com

I was in the WalMart in Chehalis, WA earlier, and saw a compact handgun that had the word 'blowback' prominently displayed on the clamshell package. It had three photos that showed the gun being fired, and it does look like a semiauto pistol being fired. It sold for about $70, but I found it quite interesting.
