Adding states to my SC CWP...

I have a SC CWP, but want to add some states... Mainly Georgia.


Would it be better to get

FLA
PA
or Arizona

Since your SC permit is honored in FL, I would suggest getting AZ. It'll save you some money while giving you pretty much the same reciprocity as FL.

Your SC permit will suffice for the training requirement...and the whole process takes about 2 weeks thru the mail.

Try NH

Have you thought about a NH non-resident permit? When I lived in SC my resident SC permit and my NH non-res permit got me everything up to PA on the East coast (minus MD, obviously) and as far west as the Rockies. Also good for the entire southeast.

The good news about the FL permit is that the training required for your SC permit should be valid for FL's licensing requirements.

You could always talk to your legislators and see if you can't convince them to extend reciprocity
to Georgia - Georgia will extend reciprocity to any state that will recognize the Georgia license...

Yeah, but GA has no training requirements for CWP. Hence, the reason why SC will not agree to reciprocity with GA.

You'll have to call AZ DPS because they will also send fingerprint cards to get done.
