Animal rights activists in Pennsylvania are reporting that hunters have shot down a drone that was recording a shooting event at a private club.
.
“SHARK,” or SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness, said that they were monitoring a pigeon shoot at the Wing Pointe shooting club in Berks County, Penn., on Sunday, Nov. 18 when their drone was shot out of the sky.
.
“SHARK used the drone to successfully videotape illegal animal abuse committed at the pigeon shoot for nearly the entire day,” the organization wrote in a press release. “At approximately 3 p.m., a single sharp rifle crack rang out.”
.
Steve Hindi, SHARK president and pilot of the drone, said in a telephone interview that the live video feed from the drone cut out before SHARK members on the ground heard the shot. After the video feed stopped working, Hindi ordered the plane to return to the launch point, but that equipment was damaged as well.....

Strange looking pigeon, But what the heck take a shot...Might look good mounted!
A real trophy piece.

Fly one over my property and I'll shoot it down also.....except you will not get it back....

I'd send them a thank you note. Not everyone provides you with a flying target.
Wonder how many g0vernment ones will come down ?

Kudos to the shooter. Personally I would be calling the local LE to press charges against the owner of the drone. If I have done my research correctly it is illegal to video tape a third party without their consent in PA also includes some jail time, but on the other hand it does provide cheap entertainment and prevents creating a martyr.

perhaps another reason they want to ban ar's so we can't protect ourselves from drones and their standing armies that may be busting in our doors at 3am to take our guns in the near future.........an un armed citizen is a subject

We need to worry more about the armed drones flying over our cities. But hey, this is a start. Get people desensitized to shooting at drones and before you know it, people will start using them as moving target practice. Good deal.
Drones to be used here have been restricted to under 500 ft altitude. Makes it even more sporting.

They don't even realize how much they're helping our cause. You get a bunch of people out there shooting at these thing proficiently, you have an army of well trained marksmen. At moving targets to boot!
Guess I was wrong. FAA only approved them here at 300 ft or less. Even better target training. I wonder how many ARs are sighted in at 100 yds in Dade County?

Forth time?
I know all of these PETA types have college degrees and such, but you would think after #2 they would have thought to revamp their tactics.
On the other hand, they also believe that deer and animals talk like in Bambi. Can't wait til numba 5 comes moping along.
Look over there. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! Its a SHARK. Shoot it!

:lol::lol::lol:

I think we should start a group. A confirmed shoot down on one of these and members will pitch in to buy you some ammo!
Pistol take down's could be double!
