What im asking is my car is in my dads name and in ohio when they run your plates im almost positive it shows you have it and i know if you get stopped you tell em but i just wanted to make sure its okay having the car in his name when i have my liscense i didnt see anything about it in the ohio ccw rules.. i know it sounds dumb but im jw.. thanks

It's completely irrelevant to your legal carry with an Ohio CHL.

Registration of the vehicle only determines whether you MAY be asked whether you have a firearm, IF the CHL holder is ALSO the registered owner of the vehicle.

Legally driving somebody else's car has no bearing on legally carrying a handgun in Ohio.
