For five years I have been gathering info and studying the case of a serial killer who is now living in Seattle. I have done this along with others on the Opord Analytical forum. This is no common serial killer either, this is the infamous Zodiac serial killer of San Francisco Bay area 1968/69.
Zodiac killed people, taunted police with phone calls, and sent letters/cards to newspapers with clues and riddles to who he was. Zodiac was never caught! We now know there were two Zodiac killers working together. The original was Guy Ward Hendrickson who died of cancer in 1983 at age 68. It seems Hendrickson started killing in the late 1940's and killed up until his death. Most likely killed around 50 people. He is the one responsible for all the well-known Zodiac homicides around the San Francisco area. He also killed people all up and down the state of California and also in other states.
His partner who is twenty years younger now lives in Seattle, WA and is still killing. In 2007 Christopher J Farmer, president of Opord Analytical published his Zodiac report which names Gareth S Penn as Zodiac. Mr. Penn has written two books on the Zodiac murders. He was also a member of Mensa, has three college degrees, and a Genius IQ. It is believed that Penn first killed in 1970 when he abducted nurse Donna Lass from Lake Tahoe and she was never seen again. It seems that after killing her he buried her on land owned by Hendrickson.
In 2004 he killed a young couple at Jenner Beach, CA by shooting them both in the head as they slept on the beach in sleeping bags. In 2005 he moved to Seattle where his son and daughter-in-law own a very nice French cuisine restaurant. In 2006 he killed two women on a hiking trail near Seattle by shooting them both in the head.
See, Chris Farmer who has a pretty good IQ himself has solved many of Zodiac's puzzles and clues. Also the people of Opord forum have solved Zodiac's 340 cipher after more than 40 years. This cipher gives the names of Hendrickson and Penn along with names and places of Zodiac victims both known and unknown before this. Everything in Zodiac's clues point to Penn, however, because of the way these clues are done they will not hold up in court.
Thus Zodiac is free to roam.
I have also spoken with Penn personally by phone four times. He did let me know in his round-about Zodiac way that if I knock on his door I will die. I have given the content of these calls to detectives. He is both angry and happy that Opord has cracked the case. Angry because no serial killer likes people in their face, but happy because in Chris Farmer and Opord he now has a worthy opponent. See the Zodiac murders were not just about killing, they were a game for Zodiac to show Law Enforcement that he could kill at will and get away with it.
Soon after one of my phone calls Chris Farmer received an email in German, signed Zodiac.
Penn once studied in Germany. In our last phone call Penn told me we should take all our info to police and see if they arrest him. See, he knows that what we have will not stand up in court. Also he truly believes no one is smart enough to catch him, and for over forty years he has been right. Zodiac hates me and once tried to lure me to north California under false circumstances. I realized it was him and did not go. Otherwise he would have killed me and sent my drivers license to Opord to show I was a Zodiac victim.
In 2010 Zodiac killed nurse Phuong Le of Fairfield, CA he stabbed her once in the heart.
Soon after Penn issued three new puzzles via the internet. Chris Farmer solved two of these puzzles and one showed that it was he who had killed Phuong Le. Not only that, he also gave a message to myself that when he killed her he was actually killing me in effigy. His thoughts were of me when he thrust the knife in her heart.
I have sent full written reports about this to FBI, Sheriffs, Police, District Attorneys, etc.
October 2012 Penn issued another puzzle via internet ---- December 2012 Penn issued another puzzle via internet. Does it show new victims? Do they give his future plans?
We won't know till they are solved.
