If you send them to a government school they are being brainwashed. I would not send my children to a public school these days if I had to work 4 jobs to keep them in a private school or home schooled.

That's the thing, they're depending on us to just "let it go", because all they have is miseducation, bullying, & fear mongering. Don't let it go, press it to the limit & you will find that people like this "social studies" person (because I will not refer to her as an instructor/teacher) will go on the defensive because they have nothing else. It's easy to mislead a group of children, but let some parents get involved, and then we'll see their true colors.

Do NOT let it go. Make some noise and be heard. Become involved with you're child's education. Let the principal know you do not appreciate your child being taught opinions like that. I have and will continue to call teachers out when my son tells me about things like this. If the principal doesn't respond to your satisfaction, go to the school board. JMHO
I'm gonna go ahead and say something, the more I think about it the more I feel I should.i may wait a day or two though when I'm not so Peed off about it. This propaganda BS they are teaching has to stop and it's going to take someone standing up and saying something. Logic tells me to not get I to a pi$$ing match but moral tells me I have to for the simple fact that my children and future grand children should be able to enjoy there firearms too and not have some thumb sucking liberal a$$wipe take there rights from them or brain wash them into thinking anything else

What is there to maybe think about? By the time you get done maybe thinking about shedding a "little" light on the subject, your kid might maybe be a full-fledged automaton, ready to defy your authority as their parent at the command of their new mommy and daddy, The State.

Why anyone would send their kids to government schools in this day and age is beyond my ability to comprehend. Except maybe the reason is that they, themselves, are the brainwashed products of government schools, and it is now an American legacy they're being trained to hand down to their kids. Whatever, it is among the most obvious reasons for the downfall of America.

garric if you wish to do anything about this you need to go through the school board. All school board meetings are open forum and a matter of public record. Usually you will find at least one reporter from a media outlet at each meeting that can possible help put pressure on the school for correction. This will also give you back up if they decide to come down on your child to get back at you for questioning the teachers conduct. To me this would be my biggest concern due to personal experience from back in the 60's. Whatever you do I wish you luck.
