I will do my best to explain my question...
I am looking to go from 9 to 40 on a tupperware pistol. I have a Lightweight Colt Commander .45. (Normally my carry piece.)
I have a 9mm Walther P99as. A very light tupperware pistol. Everyone says the .40 is "so much snappier" and the .45 pushes.
Why is the .40 always described as so much more snappier than the 9mm? The pressures are not much different on the .40 than the 9mm. (Hodgdon Reloading site.) I can see why they would be "hotter" than the .45 because the pressures are almost double.
I have not been able to locate a 40 in what I want to buy yet. I am just considering the purchase at this point.
Thanks.
