9mm m1

Last night on the Outdoor Channel, they had a show about the Las Vegas Shot Show. Some pretty cool stuff. But the one thing that hit me was, someone is coming out with a new M1 clone in 9mm. I missed who the manufacturer was. Any one see this, or saw the gun at the show?
I know there was one out in the 60's, & there's the Camp9., but this is something new.

Thank you for the info. Used an M1 while in the Corps. & would really love to own one.
The NEW one's from Springfield are way out of my price range.
Thought about CMP, but I missed the boat on that for now.
I had a HI-POINT in 9mm, & I liked how it operated, but it was butt ugly.

Hi Missoak,
.
Don't give up on the CMP. Keep an eye on the for sale posts on the forums over there. Carbines show up regularly, many times with extras like slings, magazines and bayonets. They usually have already been cleaned, lubed, stocks oiled, and ready to take to the range. Many can be quite reasonably priced also, especially if any extras are considered.
.
Take your time, be particular, and don't be afraid to make an offer via PM. The guys over there, on the whole, are of good character and fair and honorable in their transactions. Chances are you will find a fine rifle that will make you quite happy.
.

Regards -- Al

The Ruger PC-9 is very similar to an m1 at least asthetically, (or rather a small blowback operated mini 14) its built like a tank, and you can often pick up police trades reasonably that are already adorned with ghost rings or rails sometimes. I've had a pc40 (40 s&w) and loved it. Hated to part with it.
