I wouldn't shoot it in a 1911. The 1911 has the same defect, a scallop in the feed ramp leading into the chamber, resulting in an unsupported case head.
(Before the trolls pile on...the 1911 is my favorite pistol, but it does have a not 100% supporting chamber.)
It's not a bad idea, and the good people of Ohio are competent to make the decisions that will work best for them.
And there is more than one way to skin a cat. There are other options. My preference would be to allow school personnel to ccw and have the option of securing their handguns...

And exackitickly which JHP did you have in mind? One of the problems in handloading the 7.62x25mm Tok is the paucity of bullets available to the hand loader. The only one I'm aware of is the 85 grain Sierra FMJ, here: Link Removed
