Well, I got the letter from the Maryland State Police saying that my application was denied -- no explanation, no justification, just denied. Of course I will file the appeal. Ugh, at least if they are going to deny, they should expand on "why" not just lay out some arbitrary decision.

Now that I have turned in my application for a license to carry a handgun in Maryland, what is their process? What do they do to "analyze" me? Do they send a letter to those people I put as references? Do they come and talk to my neighbors? Thoughts?
