I see what you're going for here but you are not taking into account the politics of purchasing in a large agency. They simply do not choose based on the same criteria you or I can... i.e. what performs and shoots best.

I am considering a CZ pistol and have been looking at the CZ P-07 or P-09. Any thoughts on reliability?
I am used to what I get from Glocks but would not mind a pistol that needed more regular attention to keep running right. I just don't want anything that can't be made reliable :-)

My current dry fire practice routine averages 3-4 times a week for at least 15 minutes... I want to make more time for it, though. It has really improved my handling and how well "the gun" points :-)
Do you dry fire? How often? Any special drills?

I carried similarly with a SmartCarry holster for a while. Pretty flexible, although I ended up switching to an AIWB kydex holster when I was able.
I have finally realized, after a few years of carrying kydex holsters IWB in various positions, that leather may be a better choice for me after all. I'd prefer not to fill up another box with holsters in the search, though. My carry guns are a Glock 29 and a Glock 20... and I expect to be...
From what I understand the Hornady's are not designed to perform well when shooting through barriers ... that may or may not matter to you though.
