a sheepdog is a protector. one that sees a wrong doing and takes appropriate action. that action usually means calling 911, and being the best witness possible. however one is willing and able to escalate as the situation escalates . a sheepdog is not a pitbull, or someone looking for a fight. a protector will usually be able to diffuse an ongoing situation just by showing their presence.
