I'm in the military so I'm staying in Charleston, SC for a while boy south ms and la aint what it used to be....lmao..but I miss the good ole times in LA.....plan on going down for easter.... wanted to go down for the playoffs and mardi gras but between work and the weather that didnt happen

Well howdy, good to hear from you. I have spent most of my life in Louisiana. Born in Bogalusa but raised my two boys in Mandeville. I came up to Montana about 5 months after Katrina. I was one of the fortunate ones. Only had about $42,000 in damage. The insurance settled after only a little hassle and then I sold the place to a contractor who wanted to come down from north Louisiana to take advantage of all of the work due to the storm. Since we frequently visited Montana on vacation, we decided to leave the heat and humidity. Montana is just so gorgeous. I live in the Bitterroot Valley and am looking out at the Bitterroot mountain range to the front of my home. That is probably way more information than you wanted but I always enjoy talking to Louisiana folks. Again, very nice to hear from a fellow cajun.
