Find an instructors classes and put the time in.
The instruction is the method the NRA wants you to use in your classes.
Also, you learn to teach each part of the course you will be teaching.
You will have hands on and paper testing.
Simple.

I was talking to a person last night that said that before they would draw and fire a threat woould have to be within 5 feet. I passed on that at 21 feet that it takes little over a second to close the distance etc. Stil this person was dead set on that distance.

Over the last few years I have had to draw my weapon a few times and had to use it 2 times. After all of the investigations and such. I look at using a little different than in the past. I also look differently at how I do things. Have others "been there" and did it cause them to look at things...
